Are you asking me to change the anchor text? I didn’t realize I was at liberty to do that…I thought the anchor text needed to stay the same as it was described in the request???

You’re not moving to New York so you don’t have to worry about things like Security Choice and income tax changes but even if you’re only visiting for a weekend you need to know what you’re doing. Here are a few pro tips for a quick, seamless visit to the big apple.
Get a Metrocard: The best thing to do is get yourself a pre-paid Metrocard that will cover you for the duration of your trip and use it often. The subways aren’t nearly as confusing as they seem and all you need’s a good map.
Bring Black: When you pack for your trip, remember that packing all black is a surefire way to blend in as a New Yorker. Using this method can also help you cut down on any extra clothes you don’t need to worry about.
Take a cab: Rather than try to navigate the bus system or subway to get to the airport, take a cab. It will cost you about 30-40 but it’s worth it at the end of the day not to have to drag your bags all around town.

Safe Traveling in New York During Your Business Trip

Monday, January 16th, 2012

Traveling on a business trip is always a time when you want to be safe. When you travel to a large city like New York, you want to be especially aware of your surroundings. There are many more people around you than there would be in a smaller city. One of the things that you can do before you even get to the city is to pack smartly. Make sure you pack your identification in your carry-on luggage. Never pack anything in your suitcase that would identify who you are. This way if your luggage is lost no one could charge anything against your credit cards.
When you land at the airport, make sure that you have all of the bags that you packed. Check the numbers on the bags to see that they match the numbers from the boarding passes. When you get to your hotel room, always keep your hotel door locked and bolted. Never let anyone else know where you are staying unless it is your spouse. Don’t give out your name to anyone in the city unless it is your manager. When traveling, keep to yourself and try to travel in a large group of people. Don’t wander by yourself because this is when people tend to snatch wallets and other items from people.
