New York

If you are looking for a place to go and relax, New York City is NOT that place. NYC is known as the city that never sleeps. From experience, we can tell you this is true. Where else can you leave a broadway play at 11pm, go grab a bite in a restaurant and head back to your hotel at 1am, and still see thousands of people on the streets of Manhattan. Feeling hungry at midnight? Restaurants deliver food well into the morning hours. Smaller bodegas offer not only normal grocery items but gourmet foods as well. In New York, there is so much to do, there just may not be enough time to do it. This is the reason so many people go back time and time again. Whether it's fine arts you are interested in; Broadway, Metropolitan Museum of Art or the Guggenheim Museum (of course there are so many more), or entertainment; ABC, NBC studios, Radio City Music Hall, Rockefeller Center or Financial/Government/historical; the United Nations, Wallstreet, Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty, New York has it all. Visit the top of the Statue of Liberty and the Empire State Building, Visit the Ellis Island Museum and learn if any of your relatives came to the United States through this port, get up early in the morning to see a morning broadcast of Good Morning America or the Today Show. See concerts in Bryant Park. Take a run or a stroll through Central Park. But of all the most exciting things to do, you MUST have the following foods in order to say you have been to New York. New York is famous for its pizza. Don't miss a chance to have a slice. New York has not only the best bagels but the best Delicatessens and if you want some great chinese food, there is no match for New York Chinese food, especially in Chinatown. Be sure to bring home some black and white cookies to friends and family as a trip treat.
